I haven't been feeling up to par with everyone for the past couple of weeks. Everywhere you turn some kid is passing disease like the plague, gross, i know. But, i am happy to say that while at Target, getting a prescription filled, i found myself with an extra twenty bucks that i didn't know i had. Being in Target with fifteen minutes to kill is not such a good idea. needless to say, i don't have that extra twenty bucks anymore.
Anyways, I was wondering the CD isles looking for something new to listen to. [of all the songs on my iPod, i always feel like i have nothing to listen to.] i found the new-ish Fleet Foxes CD. i was pumped. This band is so awesome; they incorporate really pretty acoustic melodies, and off-beat harmonies. I can picture this as the perfect country-road-trip-soundtrack as it is a continual roll along kind of sound. very laid back.
i definitely recommend 'ragged wood' and 'quiet houses.'
This is my indie find of the week, and i am pretty happy.
