sincerity

This weekend was so good; probably the best I've had in a long while. Saturday I went shopping with C.Mac, and we had pretty much an amazing time. We got her cartilage pierced which was exciting for her :] and we looked and LOOKED for Braden's dumb tie and pocket square. Needless to say, we came up with a good match up, even though it was such a bitch to find. Seriously, we went all over the mall: every tuxedo shop, major department store, the works. He better know how lucky he is to even have one, but it's all good. Because I am probably the best friend in the world, when we walked by her dress, i made her try it on (shoes and all). Gorgeous. Someone is going to knock em' dead on prom night. 

I saw Star Trek this weekend as well. What a movie. It had everything. Seriously best casting ever. Every actor looks exactly like the younger counter part of their original character. I silently thank my parents for making me watch every old episode, and movie from the original series. This only made me appreciate all of the characterization and plot even more. 

Mother's day was fun too. We went to my favorite brunch spot, and i had the most amazing Belgian waffles there. After, we gave out our presents and made one over-worked lady very happy. I even got into a chef frenzy. I made those spectacular spicy chicken sandwiches, and angel food cupcakes all from scratch. It took me two hours, and we didn't start eating until nine, but it was well worth it, believe me. I hope that with the school year coming to an end, I can look forward to more stellar weekends like this one. I would greatly appreciate it.
