I was chatting with a very nice old lady this morning when abruptly she continued on to crush any notion of a dream that I might have had considering music as a career. She ended the conversation by telling me that if I wasn't planning to become a teacher, that there was simply no way to make it. Well, I hate school age children, so thanks a lot.

I just love when that happens. Now I don't know what to think, and right now I feel a bit disheartened. I really don't think that was necessary.
